करीअरनामा दिनविशेष । ४ डिसेंबर रोजी भारतात नेव्ही डे साजरा केला जात आहे. १९७१ मध्ये पाकिस्तानशी झालेल्या युद्धादरम्यान सागरी दलाच्या भूमिकेचा सन्मान म्हणून हा दिवस साजरा केला जातो. जेव्हा भारतीय युद्धनौकांनी कराची बंदरावर हल्ला केला आणि पश्चिम किनाऱ्यावरील पाकिस्तानाच्या कुरापतींना यशस्वीरित्या तोंड दिले व त्यांचे मनसुभे नाकाम केलेत.

शांतता काळात देशाच्या सागरी सीमा सुरक्षित करण्यात आणि मानवतावादी मिशन पार पाडण्यात नौदलाची भूमिका स्पष्ट करण्यासाठी हा दिवस साजरा केला जातो.

4 डिसेंबरची 1971 या दिवशी ऑपरेशन ट्रायडंट आखणी झाली. भारतीय नौदलाने पीएनएस खैबर यांच्यासह चार पाकिस्तानी जहाज बुडविले आणि त्यात अनेक पाकिस्तानी नौदलाचे जवान ठार झाले. 1971च्या भारत-पाकिस्तान युद्धामध्ये शहीद झालेल्यांचीही आठवण या दिवशी करण्यात येते.

Indian Navy Day: 04 December 2019

CareerNama Day Special | Navy Day is being celebrated in India on December 5th. The day is celebrated in honor of the role of the Marine Corps during the war with Pakistan in 1979. When Indian warships attacked the port of Karachi and successfully confronted Pakistan’s Kurpatis on the west coast and their plans failed.

The day is celebrated to explain the role of the Navy in securing the country’s borders and carrying out humanitarian missions in times of peace.

On December 4, 1971, Operation Trident was finalized. The Indian navy sank four Pakistani ships along with PNS Khyber, killing several Pakistani naval personnel. The victims of the 1971 Indo-Pak war are also remembered on this day.
